130 Acre Mixed Use Center located at I-485 and Highway 16 - Co-Developed with Landmark Development of Charlotte
The Development Team identified this 130 acre site, located in the Mt. Island Lake suburb of Charlotte, NC, in 2014. The property was bank owned but was one of the few remaining large tracts of vacant land outside of the critical watershed in a growing suburb. After a six month due dilligence period, the property was purchased on December 31, 2014, with additional acreage was acquired in December of 2015. Phase 1 of this mixed use project will feature 320,000 SF of grocery anchored retail. Phase 2 will incorporate 385,000 SF of single-tenant Class A office. The final phase will be completed in late 2018 and will add over 500 apartments as well as 100 Townhomes.
